In 2019, Hougang Secondary School embarked on a project to build a maker space within the school. This was envisioned to provide students with a safe space to explore and build on their ideas. It was also a space for teachers to upskill and explore learning together with their students.

The school purchased the FlashForge Adventurer 3 Education package from us. The package consists of:

1. 2x FlashForge Adventurer 3 3D Printers with one year on-site warranty

2. 5x 0.5kg Spool of PLA for 3D Printing

3. Delivery and Set-up

4. A training session for up to 10 teachers

The Makerspace also consists of other machines such as button makers, T-shirt printers, silkscreen presses, Sewing machines, some basic woodworking equipment and some basic tools.

Thank you to the teachers of Hougang Secondary School for choosing Meka 3D Printing as their provider.
