2021 year in review - Setting the foundations

2021 was the first full year we concentrates our efforts on product design and development.


Here are some highlights:

Moving to a new office - across the carpark at 1 Sunview Road

The birth of Industrial Design at mēkā

Launch of by mēkā - starting with Lightboard by mēkā

Enhancements to Studio Lightboards

Delivery and Installation of Wazers in Singapore

Building customised laboratory automation equipment

Design and Development (prototype) of Waffletron

Design and Development of Auto Deep Fryer

Closure of 3D Printing Materials Store

Getting on TV - MediaCorp Suria's Reka

Multiple co-development partnerships

Multiple reverse engineering projects

Multiple casing design projects

In 2021, we put in place some basic foundations to move mēkā from a retail and support role into a design and development role. In 2022, we'll set more foundations to move higher up the value chain into innovation design.
